Yes indeed a former president of IPEM (two or three years ago) who never breathed a word of Voluntary Registers or State Registration to any of his staff. I think the last time he spoke to me he said "You might have moved my car parking cone!!" Mind you he has only spoken to twice in eight years.

Morning gentlemen, I looked into joining the VR under IPEM but i can't due to the 3 years experience in the job clause, i'm just approaching 2 years (ex RAF aircraft tech). As i am employed as a MTO 3 Critical Care Unit Technician the VR held by the SCCT seems more relevant however i'm not certain if it offers the same pathway ie easier and cheaper acceptance onto any SR. Could anyone enlighten me?. Have visited their website and talked to SCCT members here to no avail.
Regards Tony

Papajo

Seeing as you have a need to part with your hard earned cash, I am letting you know that I have formed a petition called "Aren't Papajos wonderful".

If you will kindly send me £20 I will enter your name on the soon to increase list.

Looking forward to receiving your kind gesture as a show of your support

Topper,
Any body can set up a "club" for like minded people to talk and discuss ideas. e.g.SCCT or even this web site. But only officially recognised ones can count towards this government scheme.
So you pay your money like everyone else.

Is that a YES or a NO to paying to join my petition then Papajo

At this moment in time you qualify under the "Grandad" clause but come the 1st January you will have to submit evidence that you are indeed a Papajo

Dave, Is there something going on between you and Papajo? Inquiring minds need to know.

Being nearly Xmas and the need to generate funds to sudsidise this meagre NHS pay I thought I'd enter the world of Tele-marketing.

There are 3 more lists/associations/welfare groups you yourself TNBT might be interested in.

These are 1)Glasgow Fellowship society, 2)Association of Muppet Icon Preservation Society - or AMIPS for short and finally 3)Voluntary Register of People Sceptical of Voluntary Registers.

Membership of each organisation is for twelve months upon receipt of £20 each (Corporate discount applicable of all three at £50)

If you do decide to take up these offers you will be entered into the prize draw with the chance of winning one of the following prizes.

1. A free holiday............. to Glasgow
2. Dinner for two.........at the local Salvation Army hostel
3. TV appearance.......courtesy of Watchdog as part of the follow-up investigation

You never know it may work, after all, if the 8 messages on my answerphone when I get home from work every day are anything to go by, and in the words of P T Barnum, "..there's one born every minute.."

Here's hopin laugh laugh

Dave,
O sage like one.
Do you have any ideas on how to get shut of me mortgage, I see one of your fellow Southportolians (are they Merseyside or are they Lancashire(head at tilt of 45 degrees)) has managed such with great effect.
My next task after such will be to convince said mortgage company that they need to pay me heaps of dosh every month or i will issue court summons against them. the shear fact that they will not want to go to court should be ample to supply me with enough dosh to pack this existance in and get a worthwhile job like setting up registers for everthing from the association of non mersey tunnel users to the amalgamated associations of property developement programme viewers.
