you have hit the nail right on the head when you say it is down to JD'S.That is why you should sign them off only after having being fully consulted and B. satisfied that they are a true representation of your current duties.
It is also important to remember that they reflect the duties, as carried out by the postholder over the past twelve months
It should also be noted that chapter three of the agreement is applied. It(ch 3) relates to the experience held by the post holder NOT the experince of a new starter or that of someone recently promoted to a higher grade
