Cheers Blondie for reminding everybody in the other thread.
Only 2 weeks left to register to play and only two more teams needed then we are in the league of leagues!

Just let me stress for everybody:
A)ITS' FREE smile
B)YOU COULD JUST POSSIBLY WIN SOME PRIZES laugh
C)IT'S JUST A BIT OF FUN - I will confess to knowing very little about football, although there is already some rivalries forming amongst the other players in the league! wink
D)THERE'S NOTHING IN IT FOR ME - Just thought it would be a laugh to have an EBME league. :p

The league password is 'technicians'; feel free to pass this info along to anybody you think would be interested.

You need to get your team built and entered into the league before 17.00 BST on 18th August 2006

Go to the game (at http://lg.profantasyfootball.tv and go to 'Register to Play'), pick your team then use the ‘mini league admin' option to join the mini league.

Good luck people!

Blondie, I think you'll have to settle for a toaster or something because Duncan's Disorderlys are primed and ready and I've already measured my chimney breast!

We will now have entered the league of leagues so hopefully there will be more prizes to be won.

Roll on next week!

This is the last day for your transfers. Get them in before 17:00 today.

Make sure you have swapped out Dean Ashton for at least four month.

The 42” LCD screen is coming home with me.

Best of luck to you all.

Well we eventually made it (just!) on to the table of the league of leagues ( League of Leagues ) - I think I may add a copy of the league table to my personal development portfolio as raising the public awareness of EBME smilewink , although I was somewhat disappointed that we are lagging behind the filthytarts and whipet and pigeon division 1 laugh

Well done everybody - Let battle commence!

Yahoooooo – URZ storms to 2nd place in the mini league and goes top as best team of the month with a stonking 55 points from the first game of the month; I know that we are only two days in to the new month but what the hell I’ll take what glory there is when it’s there and slope off quietly when it all goes pear shaped.

Well done to 94th Minute for being top of the mini league but watch out, URZ are chasing you and we are on a roll.

That was a lot of fun. I would definitely be up for it again next season. Congratulations to URZ. He seemed to be leading for ages and it never looked like anyone was going to catch him. 98th in the entire league is also worth congratulating, so well done URZ!

Hi All and a big thank you to Rob1234 for setting up the league.

Just like Reading FC I’ve had a great deal of fun during my first “season” as a top flight football manager (and some might say a great deal of luck as well).

Roll on next season.

Well done URZ!. "The first EBME League champions".
Played a great campaign whilst keeping the faith with his Reading allegiance!.

And thanks also Rob1234 for setting up the league. But next season??.........94th Minute has already started scouting trips and as anyone will tell you getting to the top is one thing, staying there is another!

Cheers everybody, same time next season then, eh?

Just out of interest I emailed them to ask the total number of teams entered into the competition and their reply was over 10,000, so I think we had some pretty good managers in our league.

Rob.

Cheers Rob!

I would like to take this opportunity to announce my resignation as manager of Duncan's Disorderlys. I feel that I have taken the team as far as I can and after such an eventful season I need to take some time away from football.

I am definately not in talks with Manchester City or Wigan, it is mere speculation.

Hi Alan,

I've just had a look and Staveley Dynamoes is in league smile .

I try to check at least twice a day to see if anybody has applied to join our league and it does say "Teams recently added to this league may have to wait up to 2 hours to appear".

13 teams in the league so far and I know of at least two people who haven't entered a team so far (you know who you are! smilewink)

Remember : There's Ł40,000 in cash prizes up for grabs throughout the season – with a top prize for the season of Ł15,000!

The transfer window closes at 17.00 BST on 10th August 2007

Should be interesting - good to see last years winner, URZ, has kept the faith with Reading (but not totally wink ) - hoping for another stunning season eh? but how will they fare without Sidwell?

I reckon this lunch time is probably the final call for teams to be entered (unless any of you have early Friday finishes!).

16 teams and there's still one more team that I know of to be entered yet - a pretty good showing.

For anyone interested, I have just entered a European Metro fantasy football team.

For those interested, get your entries in and join the mini league EURO MED with a pin of 8001404.

Good luck.

Look out behind you Keith wink
I think I have climbed around 36,000 places this week if those figures are correct - that may put me in contention for a Ł1000 prize (fingers crossed laugh )

I picked a good team at the start of the season but they were all sick notes - amazing what a bit of tinkering can do

Hi all

Keith once again ran away with the title, finishing up 829th of everyone who played the game. (11th in our league finished up 115,882nd over all). The race for second was won by Stuart Arrowsmith, with Aston Martin coming in third.

Well done Keith.

I would just like to apologise to George Harbutt for mugging him with the FA Cup final to steal fourth. Soz!
