Anybody using the asena GP vol. pump? - what do you think of it?

Bought loads of 'em - more to come, seem very good
No issues so far
(unless my staff tell me otherwise now !)

and user staff appear to like them (now there's a bonus)

I have seen them at the Philips Bio-Med conference and looked good, i expect them to be better than others on the market.

can anybody tell me if the Asena GP as a body weight mode?
(meaning one can give in the weight and the concentration and the pump will calculate the rate).

I don't think the Alaris GP is designed to work that way. I think it is simply designed to deliver a volume over time (or a rate and VTBI).

I have had two more failures since my previous post on GP pumps. Both have been software errors.

Cardinal Health Alaris GP

Cardinal have come with new version of the software that will hopefully cure this problem.
Cardinal have arrange for there own engineer to upgrade all the GP pump.

The GP pump dose have a mode called Weight Base Units and on the Dataset editor patient weight is default 70kg.
