Wow - are these new posts or replacements. If they are additional posts, I think a few people around the country will be tapping you up for some advice wink

What have you done with your "used" engineers frown ?

Will you not be keeping them to show the new chaps the way.?

If not, can I have them please smile ?

Im not joking, In my experience, even part time, seasoned guys are often so much more effective than those meant to replace them could ever be.

Not the fault of a new guy in any way, just that age and experience often indicates an education, backround and work ethic combination that is hard to beat.

Question, how did the old / seasoned hand come to get these attributes:

"indicates an education, backround and work ethic combination that is hard to beat."

Give the new guy a break boggle

The key to this issue is to have a good mix of experience with the experienced hands mentoring the newbies.

We all had to start somewhere.... smile

Let's start an NHS EBME apprenticeship - now there's a thought

As usual, please only comment on a vacancy thread if you are applying or looking for further information.

Thanks smile

Max - When I was with Alfred Mcalpine Business Services in Government and Health we were signifcantly involved in the development of Addenbrookes - so I always keep a nostalgic eye on whats going on.

Johnboy - point taken

Regarding the recruitment link to your trust site, I must say the web team should be congratulated.

I wouldnt mind applying for one of those volunteer vacancies shown there actually in the future.

Darren
