Well done, Mate. We're getting there! smile

But not "restricted", I notice. Not that I'm objecting (but others have been known to before).

They are all in the public domain.
I didn't bother adding Alaris as their pages are all password protected.

I have word that they may have been, er ... hacked!

Meanwhile, please allow me to cut and paste this comment (which was made in response to a cheerful offer to upload a particular manual right here on the forum) into its "proper place":-

And as I've said before, some-one needs to maintain a database (accessible to all who may require tech info, but don't have it for whatever reason) of people willing to email manuals, which equipment they are for, and what type of manuals they are (users, service, parts etc.).

Welcome to the forum, Phuan.

It looks like you're after manuals, then.

You may have some luck with Aloka manuals by contacting MIUS ... not so sure about .pdf's, though.

Sadly, it looks like there's some weirdness going on, Huw.

I've yet to successfully download any .pdf from Medi-server, the NBN link doesn't call up the manuals page any more, and the manuals also seem to have disappeared from the Ardus site.

OK ... it was good while it lasted! frown

Thankfully, Reza's site still delivers the goods! smile

Yes, it's unfortunate.
Perhaps they got more traffic than they expected.

I will remove the links.

Of course my skeptical mind can't help but wonder if they have been "got at" in some way. Stranger things have been known, after all.

I'm hoping that someone was able to download them all whilst they were on offer, and squirrel them all away!

Or at least that a few people were able to make good use of some of them (as I am assured was the case).

I did download a couple myself, but not all, unfortunately. But (as I have mentioned before) hope to turn my attention to this issue once I get around to it.

But I can't fathom why Medi-server didn't (yet?) get off the ground, though. There's something weird going on there, for sure. So much initial enthusiasm, then ... nothing (or so it would seem). frown

OK guys ... let's get all those manuals uploaded to Frank's site!

If the uploading routine looks like too much hassle, you can always do as Neil suggests and simply send a copy to Frank's email address when sending to someone else. Not much work involved there!

If you find one, Serdar, please be sure to upload to Frank's site as well, so manuals become available to anyone who has need of them.

What we are trying to do here is share the wealth! smile

Meanwhile, you may not be aware of it yet, but a number of other manual hosting sites have now retired for some strange reason. So, if your people are able to accept uploads, and host .pdf manuals, making them generally available to the biomed community, then please go ahead and make that clear.

Like the internet itself, the more manual library repositories there are out there, the more likely any one of them shall remain available at any given time.

To be frank (could that be a pun, folks?), I suspect that some of the sites previously offering manuals have been "encouraged to desist" by one or other of the Big Players. But (as I say), just like downloading MP3 files, if every biomed is doing it ... then what can "they" do?

Who knows, ultimately all manufacturers will make their own .pdf libraries available (easily accessible, and free of charge) ... just as some* of them already do. Perhaps we can "encourage" that sea-change by continuing to bang-on about it right here!

* Welch Allyn, for example (and there are a couple of others).

Two years on, I see that Ardus is still good to go for Users Manuals. smile

Still no joy with the Blue Dude, though. I can't work out what's going on there. frown

That's a nice looking website and forum there, DinhVu ... but I think it will be a while yet before my Vietnamese is good enough to feel confident about making a post! whistle

Here is another source of "general" equipment manuals that I don't recall being mentioned before:- Devicemanuals.com.

If anyone gets any "joy" from downloads from there, please be sure to let us know. smile

It looks excellent to me, Neil.

More than a thousand (?) manuals can't be bad! smile

There's over 700 service manuals there by the look of things, and I hope that folk go through them all and make good use of them.

Looks like there are a few "rare" ones to be found there.
