I gave up all that nonsense some years ago (and recommend that you do the same). That would have been about the time that (at the end of the last interview I ever attended), I was labeled as being "yesterday's man"!

These days I have no-one to impress but myself!

I find that I am indeed on a different planet to most of the so-called "Human Resources" drones out there. So what's the point? frown

But, meanwhile, back to Portable Suction ...

Are we talking about suction units here, or motors? No, what we should really be talking about is batteries!

What ... for the motor-bike?

Perhaps we need to be reminded which piece of kit we're talking about (which portable suction unit)! smile

Thank you all for your contributions and entertaining distractions, this is for a transport incubator so in the end we decided to go for a TEK 2000 emergency suction from Therapy equipment. It works from an O2 cylinder and is small and inexpensive and has no batteries or brushes for that matter.

Where's the fun in that? wink

Most of the transport incubator lash-ups ... er, set-ups that I have seen recently appear to favour the little DeVilbiss suction unit.

This is a bit of a lash up, trying to save money.

Saving money has its place. But sometimes it's more prudent to spend some! frown
