However ... unless there is some sort of monitoring feedback loop from the (dialysis) machines, and/or some sort of controlling (of the water treatment) from there ... what could be incompatible? The connections at the (dialysis) machines' end?

two things you have to worry about 1) the type of connectors between the supply line and the machines. 2) that the supply line can handle an increase in volume.
The water quality, pressure and quantity from from DWA, Gambro, Fresenius and any other company should be acceptable for any Dialysis machine.
If you have a small loop ensure that it can handle the inreased volume, the pressure will remain the same, I had to split a single loop into 2 parallel loops in order to cope with upgrading the unit from 15 machined to 35

The over-riding consideration is water quality, naturally.

All the rest, capacity, pressure, flow, volumes, "ring main", loops or branches ... is after all, just straight forward plumbing (er, engineering)!

What about relative locations, mtalam? You haven't mentioned that. Next door (yes, good), or (as I have known) a kilometer away, across a road (bad). Or upstairs (OK ... gravity), or down in the basement (not so good ... more pumping required).

NO BRANCHES. the distance between the loop and the connector must not exceed 2 1/2 inches, gravity does not come into play as you will be using impeller pumps. There should also be no storage of product water, There is another consideration though and that is the chiller, can the chiller handle the extra capacity as you need to keep the water below 30 degrees.

The location is just next door though we are avoiding putting up a palnt house since that will mean extra money.We also intend to have a permeate ring to serve the 10 units and lastly we dont intend to store the permeate-this is usually the cause of infection due to micro organism growth
