All Bender stuff is first class, quality kit. I can only but wish I owned an 1100 ST. It's probably the best (for bench use, that is), with lots of nice accessories available.

Are you thinking of getting one? smile

Given a free choice, not to mention a fat pocket book (or wallet), I would probably go for the 800 ST, on the grounds of portability, interfacing possibilities, and "do anything" (all the standards) capability.

In the UK the Rigel 288 is a popular choice as it has a patented method of overcoming oxidised contacts that can be a problem when performing earth bonding checks at the recommended 200mA value.

The Fluke ESA620 looks nice but is quite new so not sure if anyone in the UK has one yet. Seems a good specification on paper and it is nice to see Fluke supporting the IEC 62353 standard.

Service support is very good in the UK from Rigel which is why there is so much of their kit in use.
