It would have to be my old mate Bob Wilcockson, I reckon (especially if he's still there)! smile

I last encountered Bob whilst jogging around the perimeter of King Fahd Medical City (that's in Riyadh, as many will know) in 2003.

But unless Bob is one of those who prefers to use a nom de guerre, I don't think we hear from him here on the forum. Which is a pity, as he would have a great deal to contribute.

Who is, was, has been (whatever) in the Kingdom the longest amongst those of us who get on the forum ... who knows (and why does it matter)? Let's all agree it is (was) Neil, and be done with it!

So, in answer to both your question and your PM, Umish ... many of us would have yesterday seen pictures of this written on a stone:-

Honourable age does not depend on length of days, nor is the number of years a true measure of life.

Meanwhile (and to save having to go through it all again), may I commend you to this earlier thread!

Welcome all veterans of arabia, but I would nominate Mr Nick Brown who has been in the kingdom since 1964 and is still hides inside a Linear accelerator at RKH military hospital over the weekend and claims overtime for doing so, that what you call "working smart not hard"! Neil?

Nice one! Yes, if Nick has been there since the days when I was still at school, then he must surely take the prize. smile

But, are you sure of that date? It sounds about ten years too early to me!

We used to hear from Nick on the forum, but it's been a while since he was on here. Is he still at RKH, does anybody know? Or perhaps he has moved on to well earned retirement, or some such thing?

For instance, Nick could usually be relied upon to respond (in some detail) to interesting topics like this one (which is well worth revisiting)!

Yes check the dates, especially as you have "stolen my motto" you could ask "Dr. Ibrahim Andijani" <iandijani@yahoo.com> as he is a biomed manager at RKH and is involved in Radiation Therapy

Neil, I don't think it's a good idea to post peoples email addresses.

I know Nick well, I'll email him.

Our Administrator Huw, will confirm whether Nick still lives in the Radiotherapy Department?
