I can see that you've caught on quite well, Young Adam!

Yes ... it's the "Band of Brothers"!* smile

By the way, and in similar vein (if slightly off topic), it's nice to see so many folk helping out others these days by emailing .pdf manuals. It seems that we are truly "getting there" at last. Bravo!

* Sisters included.

I agree with everyone's thoughts on the band of brothers mentality, but as far as buying,selling,trading,repairing. If there was a US subforum I think it would help. I'm not saying that it's illegal to post in other forums, but for specific questions, or needs and wants a US subforum would be great. Hell have a forum for each continent....Just food for thought

If you're saying that the forum appears to be geared towards the British government health services ... than I agree with you on that.

But surely the way to emphasise the international nature of the site is to encourage more contributors from around the globe?

If we had more members from the States on here, then it would be up to them how they wanted to play it. If the numbers were there they could dominate the discussions if they chose to do so. There are very few restrictions. And everyone is welcome. smile

Cool beans on the answer given to this topic. I happen to be a member of a US Biomed forum and I agree whole heartedly with Geoff. If we had more US Members on this forum then it would be geared a lot more towards a US mentality. However, I love the flow of this site and the fact that it incorporates so many views and opinions from around the globe. You have US sites like CBETStudyForum.com, 1technation.com, and Biomedtalk.org that would love to hear from members of this group. We have a lot to share with each other and I applaud that!

Quite right.
After all, most medical equipment companies are global, so the stuff we discuss here has international significance.

The thing I like most about this forum is the international flavor it provides. It does seem to be centered in Britain but that's fine with me. I get to learn some old english lingo on this site all the time. It's great. Plus it is always very interesting to me to learn how things are done in other countries as oposed to my country(Canada).
