We have purchased an Inspiration Healthcare Vision Alpha Ventilator. There is a requirement to support it with a UPS, Clearly needs to be complaint to IEC 60601 and have looked at the Chloride ONEAC range however when reading the ‘small’ print they will not indemnify the UPS in critical care applications – i.e. backing Ventilators. Aware they have sold some to Hospitals. Has anybody got information on alternative Suppliers or if the have decided to use these a ‘documented risk assessment’ that allows them to go into service. Any support much appreciated. Thanks
