I have similar problem in my 8000c.
but this is not a motor problem.
I found just a very small fan which make a noise.

Try cleaning the part were the silicon node attaches to the fan. Often these kinds of problems are sorted out if you take it apart and put it back together again, even if you don't locate the fault.

For what it's worth ... only the other day a Wise Man told me that it was "well known" that Dräger engineers disconnected the noisy on-board fan.

My own take is that (considering the price of the incubator) we might have expected something a little more er, ... durch Technik!

Deenis - I removed this fan has already been changed and still sound high motor .
Webbie - Has been cleaned and the fan motor well, and the sound is still present ( not a high as it was ) .

You need to establish (and make clear) which fan motor you are talking about, Hassan.

The fan motor (large motor, main circulation fan) ... or the PC-processor style cooling fan on the circuit board.

If the latter ... if it were me, I would consider disconnecting it.

This German phrase Vorsprung durch Technik is usually translated into English as "progress through technology".

It has been used in advertising Audi cars since the 1980s, capitalizing on the German reputation for technical expertise.

Although, in the case in question, perhaps the (older) English saying about spoiling the ship for a ha'p'orth* of tar may be more appropriate.

Essentially that means that if you have generally done a good job on something, you should keep up the same high standards throughout.

Wise Man II informs me that the small PCB-mounted fan is needed only if RS-232 is enabled (which it was not in the UK). Hence the "drill" in the UK was to cut the wires if the fan was noisy.

Meanwhile, the main motor should be lubricated with oil every six months. There is a small grub screw next to the motor shaft which needs to be removed. Then six drops of light oil added whilst turning the shaft, before replacing the screw.

If oiling does not improve matters then the only remedy is to fit a new motor.

I have known an uneven build up af dust on the fan blades to cause a rumble due to being out of balance.

Dust? What about PM?

Yes ... you encounter similar "problems" in grotty PC's.

Even one of my old PC's (1996) squeals a bit (especially when it's a bit cold - as it often is in my garret). I have to let it boot up then stall the fan (motor) - then release it again, for "silence" to return. I don't mind the noise myself, but my neighbours may not enjoy it quite so much!

All of the above is a bit difficult in the Dräger 8000, of course.
