Hi,

Rather than just emailing in bulk do you think perhaps you could post a list of titles/contents so that we might know what is available. I'm sure many people would be interested but we could use some clues as to content.

Thanks, Dave

hi,
For some time I've been looking for following biomedical engineering books:

1. R.S. Khnadpur Biomedical Instrumentation Technology and Applications

2. Barbara Christe Introduction to Biomedical Instrumentation: The Technology of Patient Care

3. Nicholas Cram, Basic Electronic Troubleshooting
for Biomedical Technicians

4. Anthony Y. K. Chan Biomedical Device Technology: Principles And Design

5. ATLES LESLIE R, A PRACTICUM FOR BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT ISSUES,

6. Joseph J. Carr , Introduction to Biomedical Equipment Technology (4th Edition)

7. Sid Deutsch, Biomedical Instruments, Second Edition,

8. Shakti Chatterjee, Biomedical Instrumentation Systems

my email: mxmichal@gmail.com

I have also some pack of biomedical ebooks to share, I can put a list somewhere. Books in my collection are obviously more easy to obtain, so there is danger that they are more common.
Regards,

Hi Michal,

Perhaps you could also share the titles with us all as I'm sure this would be of use to many.

Just an idea but (@ Huw) would it be possible to take this info (if it becomes available) and set up some sort of virtual library? (understood that there might be copyright problems here but.....)

Copyright is always the problem Dave.
That's why we can't host service manuals. frown

and fair enough too but if they are in the "public domain" then there would not be an issue. Perhaps those who have them (hint, hint) could forward the info to Huw to see if it was possible to legally share?

Thanks guys..... over to you

I doubt that any of those listed have been placed in the Public Domain.

I used to have a couple of those myself (eg, Carr), but I gave them (all) away a few years ago.

Frankly, with the advent of the internet, I no longer felt the need to keep carting them about every time I moved.

In fact, my advice for any student of biomedical engineering today would be:- write your own book, using the web as your primarily resource. smile

I will give my list of ebooks, I need some time to find proper software that copies filenanes from direcotry tree into text file. Or maybe simple 'dir' command with parameters will work.
