I have emailed you our infopath test spec we use for annual checks using a sigmapace 1000 on 4170's.

If anything does not conform then its out with the scope and function gen, or send it back to APC.

We used to have a homemade bit of test kit but its now been replaced by the sigmapace - homemade kit was better though IMHO! and also the amount learned by making it :O) Still not that we have time for projects like that these days.

anyway hope this helps

Just finished testing one of these today. We bought a new arbitrary wave sig gen (Agilent 33220A) especially to do these (& to replace some older generators we had knocking around). This combined with a Fluke 124 Scopemeter, a calibrated DVM & bench PSU is all you need in terms of test kit. You do have to knock up the 200:1 attenuating test circuit (as shown in the manual) & away you go!
I do find them a bit tricky to test up in our normal workshop as the room seems to be extra noisy from a combination of altitude & loads of fluorescent lights etc., but it can be done.
