Dear all
i have rcvd SONOSCAPE ULTRASOUND POWER SUPPLY BOARD Part# PWR0503055PA (PA-8101-02 REV 02) for repairs. I have isolated the fault to +/- 12V supply problem. If disconnected from circuit all other supplies working ok, on other hand if reconnected the system goes into saturation, frying the primary FET.
If someone can share the circuit diagram of this powersupply board, i will be thankful to him.

How is it you only get the good faults there, Mate? Ha, ha.

I don't know that particular unit, Laiq, but from your description I would hazard a guess that the fault is not on the power supply board. Sounds to me like there's a short elsewhere!

Meanwhile, which unit do you have there, by the way? See this link (from Russia ... about Chinese kit ... it's truly a globalized world now)!

Iwould like to solicit some technical advice regarding sonoscape SSI 1000. At first, the unit did not power up. I have tested the power supply and it is ok. I try to isolate the poroblem by giving power on every board one at a time and have found out that when the ultrasound probe interface board is connected to the system, the power supply seems to sense some fault and did not power up.

I would like to know if you have any idea on how to solve this problem aside from replacement of the whole interface board.
Or if anyone have a service manual or schematic of the said unit, can you please share it to me?

It is a shorted capacitor at ultrasound probe interface board...
Surface mount type capacitor which serves as power supply filter...
