Fairly sure these are obsolete, but I had a quick look on ebay and you can pick them up for around $50 dollars US

Thank you very much for your support and attention. I found at one U.S. company www.strenumed.com.
Price is OK, battery is new.

Thank you very much.

That looks like a useful company, not only for batteries but handpieces as well.

I notice too that they're saying they can reapir surgical battery packs!

Be sure to let us know how you get on (costs, how to pay, ease of shipping - postage from the States, and stuff like that). smile

Shipping was excelent, take 9 days till Romania with U.S.P.S. [ United States Postal Services ] Priority Class at 67 USD.

Thank you very much for all you doing for us - the newbie`s ...

That's good news. smile

With the internet, and international credit cards, buying parts etc. from the States (and other places where they have a flourishing market in "second source" parts etc.) is so much easier these days.

The "freedom" to bring in goods from overseas is one of the (few) good things about EU membership, in my opinion. Not that the UK was particularly hamstrung in that regard before, of course.

An open market for medical equipment (parts, tech support, and all the rest) is what we need (IMHO, anyway). I'm sure that many will agree (apart from the gougers that is).

Let's hope that the days when "local agents" held folk to ransom shall soon be a thing of the past - everywhere! smile
