I just had a look on the system for the part number 0220180300 and apparently Stryker in Philippines can still order the globes.
But its an obsolete part for the rest of the world. Very strange.

Hi, If you need the genuine lamp at a much cheaper price and in the UK then contact Professional Lamps UK. They supply most UK suppliers but can actually supply Hospitals Direct also!

hello all, im a little late to this thread, but regarding your info above... the Quantum 5000w was pulled by Stryker a while back, but if you had the time (or application) the lamp you are looking for is the Osram HTI 250W/22C which is still on common sale. You would just need to relamp the bracket and carefully cut and rewire the red wire (going through the hole on the bracket). You can see this has been done on the ebay listing above.
only other thing to add is to make sure you get the "C" version of this lamp as it is cabled and you will need the 4-pin connector. There are non cabled version allowed out in the world..

This one, I presume. And the other views. Do you have any information about that white sealant, Andy? Some sort of special heat-resistant stuff, no doubt.

thanks geoff, providing the cable is crimped on to the connection properly, any sort of heat resistant silicone sealant should work. I figure you guys are tripping over that sort of thing in your workshops...
Although the HTI is 250w, the temps on the osrams are fairly well dissipated forwards through the reflectors and ceramics. so the stress on any silicone isnt too bruatal.
