Anyone have any experience of the Philips Pagewriter TC30 looking at this unit for use in our Hospital?

Anyone have list of barcode scanner compatiable with pagewriter TC30? we has problem using Honeywell Xenon 1900 barcode scanner with pagewriter TC30. thanks

What type of connection does the bar-code scanner have? USB? 9-pin D-shell serial connector?

I can't recall anything about this machine ... but if "correctly engineered" (that is, following standards, and not using "proprietary" software as a way of ensuring continued after-market revenue), I would have thought that any scanner (reader) of similar type (shape etc.) with the correct connections ought to work.

Honeywell Xenon 1900 barcode scanner using USB type. any barcode scanner has been tested and working OK.
pagewriter TC30 can using barcode scanner but must buy from philips and the barcode scanner is using PS/2 type.
