Indeed not! I was basically agreeing with (and trying to reinforce) what our friend in Romania was saying.

@bosch:- your post reminded me of a couple of quotes attributed to those Wise Old Dudes. Sorry for any misunderstanding. smile

I thought that there was a very detailed list of what needed doing and when in the manual, unless bosch has a shortened translation? Then again, I have the official training notes from the course at the Bicester HQ, so I usually work from them because I have written in a few memos... I can't write memos into the official copy of the manual!

There are clear indications for every six months, year, 2 years, and 6 years as I recall. There was a really helpful grid with each requirement, and it also laid out which tests were best done after certain repairs too.

If it isn't in the copy on Frank's page, I will try to PM you, bosch. Do you have the computer software to run the PPMs, by any chance? You will need that for some of the servicing and post-repair verification to be absolutely sure it is working perfectly.

I don't have access to the disk for the software. You should probably try to buy it through the agent that sold the ventilators to the hospital in the first place.

They may insist that you buy the training before they will sell it to you, which is a four day course. I know that there is a course at Bicester in the UK. I remember that there were several EU attendees when I did it, so it may be that you would have to come here for the course.

I will gladly write a copy of the testing schedule, but I cannot send the software - sorry!
