Looking for feedback from those who look after this bariatric table.
We've had them in use here in Bristol since 2005 & we've had a succession of recurring problems with them. Of 4 tables in use we had to replace 5 main PCBs before Maquet admitted there was a problem with a component & we eventually had all the boards changed to the same version but only after we had forked out the money for the first 5.
The next major recurring problem relates to the locking mechanism on the leg extensions - bent shafts & bent bearing pins. As the shafts incorporate RFID encoders both to tell the table that it is a solid section & which is left/right it's vital that proper secure locking is achieved else you can end up with a split leg section. After that it's the telescopic section, handswitch & handswitch cable breaking & we have our hands full. The other serious & major probem is it's possible to dislodge a position sensor cable as it's not guarded & then the table doesn't know where it is & the result can be specatular. Any other users have these problems

Hello Pablo.
Hydraulic pump constantly running is one of the symptoms of a failed power board - worry when this happens in the middle of an operation is that the operators continue working, the pump overheats & with all that hydraulic oil we wonder what the danger is of a fire. You can't cut the power to the pump without lifting the plinth covers & that's not possible with a patient on the table.

Yet another example of brilliant design, then, by the sound of it. frown

Sometimes (often, usually in fact) the old - proven - ways are the best.
