Actually, your observation (about doctors) is a good one. Especially the female ones, if my own experiences are anything to go by. The "debates" about Professionals
etc., etc. that we see on here from time to time immediately spring to mind.
Are the biomeds more professional than the Professionals?

On the other had, a tech can still look smart without resorting to "formal attire". That's another Old Chestnut that has been threshed about a bit on here (in the past) as well. And I may as well bung in this one whilst I'm at it:- which is better,
looking (acting) smart, or
being smart (and, not only that, but doing smart things as well)?
OK ... I was using different meanings of the word "smart", there. There's a word for that you know:- it's called being a smart-[censored]! Ha, ha.
