We have just started getting a bunch of humidity sensors on our Giraffes fail @ £300 a pop. The GE engineer has not seen this before & escalated it to the US, but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

We are a L3 NICU and use humidity a fair bit, but still...

We have 14 of these units the only major failures we have had has been the fan motors becoming noisy.

humidity sensor is at the forefront of the incubator. There is currently a temperature sensor. temporary solution, the sensor is removed and thoroughly cleaned isopropylene or alcohol or degreasing agent.
