I know it's a bit late in the day, but the Endoscopy gear done by Endoscopy UK (now referred to, as far as this post goes, as EUK) is actually made by FUJINON. It's good stuff, but there is little difference between Fujinon from Keymed/Olympus or Pentax. Our hospital is predominantly Keymed/Olympus, but we've started to introduce Fujinon gear. We trialed a Pentax system, but there was a small, but significant, problem with it. I, and a pal, went on a short course to EUK HQ near Lydney, in Gloucestershire (North side of the Severn). We were treated royally, and the course was good.
Other known Endoscopy makers are STRYKER (or is it SPYKER?) and Smith & Nephew do a system - Dionics?
