It is difficult to tell you were to go to get one actually if your need is urgent without saying names , this got me forum banned last time

However, theres lots about , and plenty available to help, I am sure if you PM Geoff he will point you in the right direction , he will be with us tomorrow whilst we are putting on a specialist gas engineering training day which we hope he will find interesting

It is not easy administering a website forum with over 3700 members. I assure you we do not suspend many members. In fact, in the History of this site i believe it is less than 5.

We keep this website free to our members. The reason it is free is because we charge private companies for advertising. Everything we get goes back into the running of the site. If we allow 'carte blance' advertising on the members forums, there would be a 'free for all'.

We do allow FREE advertising of events and jobs for NHS members only.



There are many instances where we allow members to give advice on companies. It can be a grey area, but as i am sure you can appreciate, to keep our NHS accreditation as a recognised source of education and communication - we must enforce the site rules.

This EBME resource has been appraised and listed by the NHS Library because it satisfies the INTUTE criteria for quality.


If you don't break the rules your membership won't be suspended again.

Yes, I did indeed enjoy the day. Not only did I get to meet the Bold Magee in person, at long last, but also Brian Hill and my old mate, Manni Rehal. Plus the rest of a good bunch of biomed guys. Good company.


Yes, we understand the constraints you're under, John. As I've said many times before, this website is a great resource. Meanwhile, now that VRCT has their own site (and a very nice one it seems to be), I'm thinking of starting my own, where carte blanche and free for all will very much be the order of the day! Advertising will be free (except for NHS members), especially for freelancers and temps seeking assignments. Perhaps we sometimes take ourselves a bit too seriously, after all.
