One of our customers wants to obtain a 4-channel infusion pump tester, does anyone have recommendations? Which brand/type? Where to buy?

As far as I know, there are two. The Datrend Infutest 2000 or Fluke IDA-4.

The Infutest is available from DEMACO.

The IDA-4 is available from Ultramedic. \:\)

I have used the IDA4 - very good and easy to use. I can't give you any advise on the Infutest 2000, never used one.

I've used both! And they are both good (I would look at price, local support and calibration etc.). Although the IDA-4 is (I would say) easier to use, myself, I would go for the Infutest. But that's mainly because I'm a bit of a geek! \:\)

I have used the IDA4 and liked it especially with the associated software. Not used the Infutest.
But you are putting all your eggs in one basket. You have no tester when it goes for calibration or if it breaks down.
Think of two 2channel ones if the money will stretch to it.

Careful. We have a IDA 4 and it does have four inlets on the front but channels 3 & 4 don't have all the internal gubbins etc, i.e as if they are optional extra's.

Similarly, be aware that the Infutest needs the Remote Sensor Module (known as the RSM) to convert it to four-channel operation. \:\)

Not many about like RSM Brittain these days, I'll bet. Smartly turned out, of course, in his SD's and puttees! I would only fault him on the slightly sloppy way he's holding his pace-stick!

Hate to imagine what would have happened if ever he had caught sight of me slinking across the corner of the square in my coveralls, though. It would have been something like "Double away to the Guard House, you 'orrible maggit!", I'd expect. \:\)
