I thought people who like to do their own electronics might like to see the ultimate in home made circuits.
The video is 17 minutes long but is worth it. Grab a cup of tea, sit back and see a dedicated man at work.

Brilliant! They didn't teach us how to do that at Arborfield (I did once see x-ray tubes being made at GEC Medical, at East Lane in Wembley, though). \:\)

I watched that at home ( can't access the video clip at work.... ) and covet all that gear the guy has! I love that spot welder!

Home made transistor anyone?

That may have already been done, Jon, by the look of it (should be a lot easier than making thermionic valves, though, I would have thought)!

For anybody interested in this sort of thing (and if not, why not?), Andrew Wylie's website is well worth a visit. \:\)
