Has any member used or had a demo of the resman ver2 software. It was originally evolved from an estates package. The pp demo I have seen seems impressive, what are members opinions of this package.

Mark,Mark - a dog with a hair lip..ha,ha.
I've just had looked at the RESMAN site(www.resman.co.uk),it looks promising. I'm waiting for a quote to replace our SEMS system. They've told me that it's possible to transfer our existing data to their system.
We'll have to replace our existing hardware to run it, mind you, the abacus is old technology so we'll not miss it!

John, the software is an equipment management product derived from an estates package.

It seems as though some months have past since anyone mentioned Resman Ver2.35 EBME software. Is anyone using it yet?

You may find our E-MAT product of interest, Barwick Systems have been supplying software to the NHS for almost 20 years.

We sponsor this site and are listed on the Products page.

You can download a fully functional 30-day trial of E-MAT from our website http://www.barwicksystems.co.uk - under the Products page.

We can convert existing data, and have done so already at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust (Dewsbury), and Nottingham based Direct-Care (41,000 items).

Incidentally Tug, our offices are based in Stockton-On-Tees so we are just around the corner from you!

Kind regards,

Paul Stockton

[/Hello Mark, I was involved in the original specification for the Resman EBME system, which was a joint venture with the EBME department of a major teaching hospital. It is not derived from an estates system, but the principles of asset and maintenance management are equally applicable to an estates environment. You can download information relating to version 2 from www.resman.co.uk, or if you would like an evaluation system please drop me a line. Regards]
