I've been getting a lot of bounced emails recently because a number of users haven't updated their email address in their profile.

Could you please check that the email address you are using is valid.

Just click on the My Stuff >> My Profile link at the top of this page.

Thanks.

For those in the NHS you can get an NHS email account that travels with you as you change jobs.
You also have access to ALL!! NHS email addresses and can fax and SMS from the site as well.
See www. NHS.net to register.

It seems bizarre that your Trust has taken this stance as you need a valid Trust email account to register for a NHS.net account.

I have recently moved to Portsmouth but the NHS.NET log on said I was still at my old hospital. When I had trouble with updating my password, it told me to contact my local administrator. Our ICT department said they were not involved with NHS.NET and my old place said that I did not work there so they could not help.
So much for one email traveling with you. I have registered several (official) things to the NHS.NET site ready for the move here, now cannot access them.
Don't you just love ICT helplines....... Well waiting for them to answer lets you finish your coffee without the phone ringing.

I think if you email the NHS.net administrator they would provide you with your local administrator as all Trusts should have subscribed as part of NPfIT. With the pre-Contact upgrade you could look up the info online. As you are having trouble I will try and looking it up for you, if I succeed I will post the persons name here.

I am at a loss what to do. If I try anything it says contact YOUR helpdesk or administrator but if they do not help what can I do?
There is no generic help that I can find.
If anyone knows how I can make contact with the NHS.NET admin could they let me know.
Thanks
Robert

I suspect you have already tried helpdesk@nhs.net and tried the 0845 008453 number.

Did you ask them who the named NHS.net administrators are for your Trust. Failing that try this website with key contacts

http://nww.nhsia.nhs.uk/nhsnet/pages/contacts/contactsbyfunction.asp#website

Good luck

Thanks Bioman but the phone number and web address are both unknown.
I have emailed and wait a reply.
Robert
PS the NHSIA helpline for NHS.NET is 01392 251289 if anyone else needs it. But it is closed at present. They go home early.

Rojo,

I also can not find myself in NHS.NET,
seems our RMH did not join this net.
