Hello,

I am Zaid, a postgraduate Biomedical Engineer student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am doing my final subject in my Master Degree and expected to finish June 2010.

I had an internship in Alfred Hospital before, which was for one month in July 2009. I learned about a variety of medical devices as I spent the training on different benches and with different Engineers from the Biomedical department. Also I went through some of the wards in the hospital when we were asked to fix, assemble, or check some devices for safety usage.

I had two other trainings before during my Bachelor Degree. The first one was for one and a half month in 2004 in the Medical City Hospital. Mainly the training was on catheterization. The other training was for two months in 2006 Al-Kadhimyiah Hospital and I was exposed and trained on programming and follow up of pacemaker devices implanted in patients.

I am looking for a volunteer or part-time job for the few coming months, and when I finish my degree hopefully in June then I can change it to full-time job.
