Maquet UK say in order to get the service manual we would have to do the Maquet service training in Germany & to pre-qualify for the training you have to have proven hydraulic servicing experience/qualifications. Apart from that hurdle when we inquired 5 years ago the cost was £5,000 & you also had to purchase their dedicated service/diagnostic computer for £5,000 so it was always a non-starter for us. Instead we paid £1,000 for a simple first line 1-day training which enables us to do basic breakdown service & the annual functional check. Curiously Maquet USA offer a 3-day service training & there doesn't appear to be any strings attached.
