Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has any old S400 gas regulator service kits lying around gathering dust that they would be prepared to sell/donate for use in refurbishing some old anaesthetic machines for an overseas charity?

You maybe able to get these from an industrial plant supplier. We used to some years ago.
The only problem being that if they are for oxygen reg you obviously have to ensure they are O2 clean.
Otherwise you could repipe for say Oxylitre regs.

Hi Geoff,
Leaking Diaphragms mostly. As has been stated before there is not much point in sending kit that has either not been properly serviced or for which spares are no longer available. We have looked at repiping, but the cost of new regs and altering the pipework is prohibitive. Will try a few suppliers and see what surfaces (thanks KM)

Yes. Indeed. smile

It would be nice to be able to keep all those old machines going. In fact I would go as far as saying that there must be a market "out there" for servicing kits for old Boyles type machines. Surely someone must supply them? think

Let's see.

Other than that I'm wondering if simple substitution of the regulators (with a more readily available type) is feasible ... perhaps just requiring threaded adaptors, rather that major re-piping. Anyway, I hope you get a result on this one. Be sure to let us know how you get on.

Meanwhile, have you tried Diamedica?
