... I can remember when it was 30 halala per litre! Still, it's a pity you can't bring some home with you, Eddie. The way things are in the UK, I'm seriously thinking about managing without a vehicle altogether. The camper-van has already gone. At 20 mpg I just couldn't afford to go on anything like a lengthy trip ... so what's the point? I reckon it (ie, the duty on fuel) is more to do with (the government) attempting to modify people's behaviour than simply generating revenue.
