Medical Technologies Foundation Degree
The Medical Technologies Foundation Degree continues to be popular among biomedical engineers, as the first two years are work-based, this enables engineers to study for a higher level qualification while still in full time employment. There is also an opportunity for a third year at Eastwood Park’s partner, Kingston University, to achieve an Honours Degree. Excellent facilities
The practical training takes place in the most comprehensively equipped training laboratories in the UK; a number of working environments are authentically replicated including a hospital operating theatre, sluice room, a large decontamination centre, plus a fully equipped dental suite, x-ray and medical gas pipeline facilities as well as a 3-storey lift training centre. All of this is set in a beautiful 200-acre country estate. The majority of the training is unique and is accredited by internationally recognised awarding and professional bodies. The courses reflect the latest legislative guidelines, approved codes of practice and guidance applicable to these portfolios:
Training is also delivered at customers' premises too; the larger the numbers the more cost-effective this is. A comprehensive range of training dates for scheduled courses is published twice a year and is available on request or on our website. If additional dates to suit are required Eastwood Park will always do its best to add these where possible. Similarly should bespoke training be required specifically to meet your needs, Eastwood Park will be delighted to deliver this.
