Measuring quantitative results in anaesthesia management is fast becoming the standard for caregivers in the Operating Theatre.
Dräger is pleased to offer its customers some of the latest innovations for measurement of neuromuscular, brain activity and pupillary movement to support this requirement.
The TOFscan NMT monitor provides an easy, reliable way to measure the muscle relaxation status of an anaesthetised patient. It displays a range of data points to support treatment decisions and adjustments to the patient’s neuromuscular blockade.
The AlgiScan uses pupillary reflex dilation (PRD) to provide fast and accurate measurements of the patient’s analgesia level.
Using an exclusive process, the AlgiScan quantifies within seconds the PRD through an integrated nociceptive stimulator, and its variable intensity electric stimulations provide practitioners with the possibility of validating and forecasting the appropriate level of analgesia for all medical and surgery actions.
The NeuroLight replaces the traditional torch examination of the patients’ pupil in the Intensive Care Unit. It provides accurate and independent measurements, thus improving the quality and reducing the time required for this assessment. The NeuroLight is also equipped with a recording mode that enables caregivers to record variations of the pupillary diameter.
Infinity® BISx® SmartPod®
The Infinity BISx SmartPod incorporates BISx smart technology into Infinity patient monitors. The Bispectral Index (BIS), a processed EEG parameter, can indicate the effects of sedation on the brain. Data gathered by the Infinity BISx SmartPod can help deliver anaesthesia with more precision and enables early response to a patient’s changing condition during anaesthesia.
