We are looking to recruit a fully experienced, highly motivated Medical Engineer for the Medical Engineering Department. The department will aim to provide technical support in electronics and anaesthetics to all wards and departments. The department will also be responsible for the running of the equipment Library for the Trust.
In order to meet the demands of this very busy support service the successful candidates will have good supervisory and communication skills in addition to proven experience of working on a broad range of electronic and anaesthetic medical equipment exercising a high level of technical knowledge and skills.
A minimum of two years experience working with medical equipment and academic qualifications to HTEC/HNC or equivalent in electronics are essential.
The person appointed must be flexible regarding hours of duty.
