As an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, you will join the team managing the Trust’s large stock of medical equipment. The specialities covered include: x-ray equipment, pathology laboratory equipment, audiology, neuroscience, renal dialysis and anaesthetic equipment, as well as the full range of patient related monitoring and therapeutic equipment found in the Trust’s wards, intensive cares, theatres and specialist departments.
You will:
· manage the medical electronics and mechanical engineering section
· service and repair highly complex pieces of electro-medical equipment and guide the more junior technicians with their work.
· act as the quality manager for the departmental quality management system.
· provide scientific input to departmental and Trust committees
