Hey Eddie, did you get a PM about being "rude to women" as well (as me) then? I don't know (or much care) who has been complaining, but I do feel that I've been wasting my time in trying to steer people in the right direction.
People often come on here seeking help or advice. And I like to give both when I can. It's up to them to take it or leave it. It doesn't cost them anything. But it
does cost me my time.
Let me say it loud and clear ... personally, I make no distinction between people posting on this forum. If people (of whatever gender ... and all the other categories that I couldn't care less about) can't take a bit of gentle banter, then it's a sad day indeed for this forum.
If women (or anyone else, for that matter) expect some sort of special treatment, then I suggest that their posts carry some sort of flag to that effect. Otherwise, how are we supposed to know who is who, and what is what?
May I humbly suggest that perhaps some people take themselves (and everything else for that matter) a bit too seriously.
