I dare say that most users of this forum don't get around much to reviewing the archives (as I occasionally do). That's a pity, I feel, as we are now getting to the stage whereby almost every "new" topic has been touched on before, sometimes in great depth!

Also, especially back in the early days (before my time on the forum, I might add), when (it would appear) both the site itself and many of the (then) stalwart users were still "finding an accommodation" about what the site was all about, some of the threads ended up getting a bit off course, and had to be "locked" against further posts. The downside of this was (is) that they were effectively consigned to the dustbin, and subsequently fell beneath the horizons of mainstream users.

Here is an example. It is interesting to note what became of medibay.com (and, indeed, the ebme Auction Page)!

And here is another, but this time of the "reminiscence" genre (of which, I'm happy to say, there are many) ... and, as yet, still unlocked! smile

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
