Low-pressure hose assemblies for use with medical gases?
(non-official) documents I have seen usually say something like:- "Check date hose was manufactured. Replace (renew) if over five years old".
Eastwood Park (2005) said:-
1) Manufacturer's recommendations suggest a quarterly inspection.
2) Manufacturers also recommend hoses be replaced every 3 to 5 years.
It seems that most manufacturers settle for five years (for example:- BeaconMEDAES
) et al
. Presumably, they follow the latest Standards!
Are your hoses marked with date of manufacture?
The Yorkshire coast is very nice at this time of year (heavy rain and thunder last night).
