We will be evaluating the T34 for MHRA/NHS PASA and a competitive device (if launched as promised) within the next two months.

We have six production McKinley T34 Syringe Pumps currently undergoing technical commissioning checks. Providing they perform to specification we have arrangements in place to undertake closely monitored clinical trials/evaluations.

The aim of the evaluations is to test the pumps in four NHS Greater Glasgow clinical areas and evaluate user feedback:

Community; LHCC Primary Care, South Glasgow

Hospice, North Glasgow

Oncology, Ward, West Glasgow

Gyn/Oncology,Ward, East Glasgow

User feedback will be evaluated via a locally modified MHRA proforma document.

Our results will be fed back to Teresa at Bath Institute hopefully for inclusion in their overall evaluation.

WOM Davis,
Could you inform me the evaluation result when you have it?
Our hospital is also thinking to replace MS26 with T34.
Many thanks.
