This Poll is designed to show which bands MTO graded jobs are being placed into.

If there are any other grades such as Estates Officer or MTO with stars, please post a reply.

This could be a useful pole, especially to show regional and national variances.
Keep up the good work BSM.
(We have a mix of MTO/EO grades with and without stars, but will atempt to map results as and when)

I hope that this poll will give us all the chance of being able to see how things are turning out.......we asked 100 EBME Engineers.......and the survey says.......!

I think if you want regional variations, someone else will have to create the poll! eek eek

This is actually version 3 of the poll as I cocked up the first one, and the second one had to be modified to account for unbanded grades and grades with stars.

Thanks for the support!

It would be interesting to see what the pay banding is on a SHA by SHA basis, but I think that should wait until evertone has been banded. laugh laugh laugh laugh

There is not the option for Rejected banding and remaining on Trust contract.
It would be interesting to see how many of these there are. It would show how many people have been banded low. I presume you would reject it if your pay and conditions were lower the your current.

Your posting doesn't quite make sense due to your grammatical errors.
Also, rejecting your banding wouldn't necessarily mean that you have been banded low, but maybe there is no flexibility in the banding if you are placed right at the top of the band and it would be advantageous to stay on a Trust contract where there is more scope due to further incremental points being available.
I think it is worth noting as well that by staying on a Trust contract there is no guarantee that this will last forever. Although the government has made no mention as yet that Trust contracts will not be subject to review in years to come, it makes sense from their point of view that ALL staff will be on A4C eventually. In Social Services during their last pay and conditions of service review, a number of staff elected to stay on local contracts. Two years down the road, these contracts were revoked and the individuals had to re-apply for their jobs under the new conditions and many lost out with regard to salary and position.

I am not sure about Trust contracts, but I believe that Whitley Council pay scales are now frozen and will not give yearly increases in the future.
