Hi Guys & Girls

I have been asked to provide a EBME website for the Trust Intranet and the Internet.

I am looking for any ideas or examples. I know Richard has a good one for Shrewsbury, any others?

Thanks.

Jim

The Medical Equipment Service Unit at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham had an excellent site with lots of equipment specific information on it. It now seems to have disappeared with the Nottingham hospitals merger.
The new Medical Physics website is here. It does not have the old MESU information on it but someone there might be able to help you.

It'll work from within an intranet, won't it Mark?

Yes, I too noticed the excellence of the Queen's Medical Centre site. First class. If it's indeed "gone" (after such a short time), then it's not just a pity, but a waste! smile

But dare I ask what is the point of such lavish productions? Who does the work involved (and the on-going maintenance, updates, etc. involved), or is it just another pile dumped onto the departments? Does it help to get the actual work done at all, I wonder? And, of course, what we really want to know is, who pays (and is the money well-spent)?
