I hope that thing is disused - the noise sounds very expensive! Mind you that is a very clear demonstration of a safety hazard.

By the way I can't access YouTube at work - it's one of the banned sites on our Trust's Intranet. So yes I had to try this at home! smilewink

It looks like quite an elderly machine to me, so my guess is that they were having a bit of a "play" before de-commissioning it. On the other hand, the one with the chair looks like the result of a genuine snafu! smile

Interesting comment about the NHS Thought Police. I expected as much.

Actually YouTube is banned mainly because of the amount of traffic that it generates - imagine maybe 20 employees across the hospital taking a shufty at a funny clip at the same time during a lunchbreak while a doctor urgently needs to see a patient's X-ray! wink
