A 360 degree parallel twin four-stroke (
eg, a traditional Triumph) always sounds good (not
noisy). On the other hand, a shallow V-twin (as in Harley) is bound to sound irregular, and jump about a bit.
But you're right,
Leonius, there are a
lot of so-called "born again bikers" around. There are also a load of irresponsible idiots racing on certain A-roads that I could mention, too. I wouldn't mind so much, but I
do resent having my own journey delayed whilst yet another one is scraped up off the pavement. Natural selection at work, yet again?
