If it uses the same alarm codes as the N550, then it means "SpO2 front end reports calibration (offset) failure". All I can suggest, is try a new SpO2 sensor.

Dear Baldrick Thanks for your quick reply. Even if we dont use any spo2 sensor. When unit is switched on it shows the error. Some times it doesnot, but some times it does. So user is not happy with it, want this error to be removed. I think it is different to what u have said. Thanks anyway, any one else have the info please. Regards

From N200 user manual:
Err 6 Battery-backed memory contents have been lost, and the trend memory was erased and reinitialized. The trend memory operates normally as long as the N-200 is turned on, but when the ON/STDBY switch is set to STDBY, the trend memory will be erased. Contact qualified service personnel.
Note: This message may also appear briefly when the N-200 is first turned on after software has been replaced with a different version. No action is required.

Is there a "button cell" (or similar) somewhere in there, Laiq? That's where I would look. Always "think simple", Mate!

See my Profile as usual, Laiq. By the way, I have in my hands a duff Nellcor N-550 (you know, the way one does), and (having already had a quick look at it yesterday) can confirm that there is indeed a lithium (?) back-up battery in there. Nothing like the N-200 (which was a "classic"), I know ... but I'm just telling you this to let you know that you're not alone!

Dear Geoff I checked today the Nellcor N200 doesnot have lithium cell, but i managed to find out BATTERY BACKED RAM. Can u let me know how to check that its internal voltage is ok. I try to check its VCC pin when no AC or BATTERY was connected, it was 0.10V. I will check the profile. Thanks any ways. Regards

No good asking me, Mate. I always thought that battery-backed RAM needed a battery!

Hi Laiq, You can check the battery voltage across pin 14 and 28 on U15, it should be between 2.0 and 3.6 volts. The bad news is I think they're no longer available but I maybe proved wrong. Hope this helps
