You know when yer older when you got hairs growing out yer ears and nose :D, and the brown locks turns to a sultry grey and balding somewhat frown.
Dont think I'd like to be young again in this day and age, no money, too many drugs around, and knife crime on the increase, and the lack of decent jobs for most.
I'll stay in my little hareem I have here. cool

Dunno bout the Jobs and money when I left in '72, plenty of work around, money was OK I ran an car on £7/2/6d, and smoked like a trooper, drugs , well there was only the hash I heard bout then , perhaps I led a 'sheltered life', it was good though, but I would'nt want it back tut

I started Uni in 1974. In those days, Guinness was my drug of choice, and it cost all of 20p a pint in the Union Bar! I could get quite hammered for a quid. Happy days.... crazy

Wasn't still called 20 "new" pence in those days? I remember finding a fiver in a pub once and it payed for the night out and BFH for me and my mate (early eighties).

I bought mine for £4755.00, didn't drive a car till I reached 34 (lessons were too expensive at £1 and 5 shillings) but could top up my Enfield Bullet tank for less than 15/6d!

And yes I reckon I am a bit older than Geoff!
