G'day from NZ.
A questions to ask the community.
How items of equipment on average is each Biomed resposible for? I mean just divide the total number of assets you have on site divded by the number of Biomeds on site - this is a very rough and ready work load figure. Also, what would be the average compliance rate of your site?

Seems to be a familiar question we used to discuss.

Welcome to the forum, Philip. See also this earlier thread. And this one.

I missed the previous threads linked to, but last week our guv'nor stated in a meeting that we are responsible for approx 1000 items each. This is up from 800 two years ago. A bit higher than geoff's ideal of 300. If by compliace you mean % PPM's we are down from over 80% to the high sixties.

Yes, Bill ... but I had mentioned the proviso:- ... following good equipment management practise and carrying out properly-conducted planned maintenance ...
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
