For the past couple of weeks I have not been able to access the EBME site using my usual AOL browser. I have been in touch with AOL, who have given all sorts of solutions, but without result. I have made it this time by using the Google Chrome browser.
Anyone with any ideas as to what the problem might be?
I have reloaded the AOL software, scanned for viruses, done a registry check, and so on. My AOL browser is OK on other sites, it just doesn't like you!

Interesting. Are you having the problems from just one PC? Or is it from different locations? The IP you are posting from now, is not on our blacklist.

Solution:- use FireFox! smile

(maybe it's time for a Poll about which browser people are using)

AOL are well known for the number of restrictions they have in place.

It is always the same PC, a laptop, but different locations. AOL have not admitted to blocking the site

AOL will admit to nothing, I've had problems with them for years.

Some good (that is, wise) friends have also recommended Google's Chrome browser.

I'm using it right now, and will probably try it for a while. First impressions are that (apart from looking nice) it seems to be quite quick about things!

As it happens, the default skin works very well with the predominantly blue themes used by ebme! smile

More about Chrome:-
