Can you not upgrade to direct digital?

Agfa and kodak are the best 2, also go to www.auntminnie.com for a free independent assessment

Because of the lower exposures required for breast screening not all CR systems are suitable.
In the UK I think only the Fuji system meets the requirements of the NHSBSP (NHS Breast Screening Programme). Image quality with Kodak and Agfa was good enough at these lower exposure levels.
But NHSBSP is now recommending that breast screening units change from film to direct digital mammography from 2010 and not consider CR.

Which is what I recommended in my first reply, but we are talking about India here unless the NHS is active there also!
